We are currently seeking an individual to join our planning desk as a Planning Desk Associate. Benefits and bonus participation would be available after satisfactory completion of a 90 day trial period.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Working with proprietary software to help advisor's create financial plans for clients and prospects
• Recording client communications, case notes and sensitive documents in digital CRM and file storage systems
• Monitoring advisors’ email to schedule clients as needed and direct clients to appropriate desks
• Handling advisors’ notes after meetings with clients, including logging material, executing assigned logistical action items, and delegating appropriate tasks to the correct desk (insurance, investments, planning)
• Acting as first point of contact answering the phone and providing a positive first impression with clients, as well as educating clients on web-based platforms
• Preparing advisors for client meetings by utilizing various systems to obtain all pertinent information and updating the client’s integrated consolidated planning summary
• Updating personal planning analysis before and after client meetings, and delivering to client when needed
• Working with the advisors and/or the directors of investments & insurance on special projects
Requirements
•
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent client-facing demeanor
• Working in a Midtown, NY office five days a week from 8am-5pm
• Familiarity within a finance/insurance environment
• Willingness to work towards and obtain degrees/certifications within the industry
• Highly self-motivated, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize clear communication with colleagues, and organizational skills are a must
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook etc.
• Individual should desire to be part of a culture on a high volume, high performing team
